Prepare for hilarity, because John Mulaney is coming to Comedy Connection for three shows on 02/25 and 02/26. John Mulaney is a two-time Emmy and EGA award winning writer, actor, and comedian. He continues to sell out venues across North America, and is adding more shows to his 2023 tour across Europe and Australia.
In 2008 Mulaney began writing for SNL and is the mastermind behind characters like ‘Stefon’ and as a ‘Weekend Update’ correspondent. He is the voice of Andrew in Netflix’s Big Mouth, and has written for IFC’s Documentary Now!
Mulaney won an Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Special for his Kid Gorgeous North America Tour which was later released as a Netflilx special. He went on to release The Comeback Kid, dubbed “the best hour of his career” by AV Club, also a Netflix original. His Comedy Central special, New In Town earned him the title, “one of the best stand up comics alive’ by Ken Tucker of entertainment weekly.
The Broadway runaway hit, Oh, Hello on Broadway was written by Mulaney alongside Nick Kroll. Since then they have released a netflix special and podcast of the same name based off their characters Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland.
