Maybe you have seen her as a regular on “Late Night With Seth Meyers”, and “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon”. She has also appeared in “The Late Night with James Cordon”, HBO’s “2 Dope Queens”, and “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen. She has her own half hour comedy special on Comedy Centrals, “The Half Hour”.
Jacquline Novak’s “Get On Your Knees” is Novak’s part feminist outcry, part coming of age triumph. In this high brow show Novak tackles the femininity of the penis and the stoicism of the vulva in an unexpectedly philosophical show. Ira Glass calls it a “nearly Talmudic dissection of a subject. Really funny and really just like nothing else.
“How to Weep In Public: Feeble Offerings on Depression from One Who Knows” was published by Novak in 2016 and is now available as an audiobook. POOG, Navak’s podcast with Kate Berlant, comes out every Tuesday.
