This Halloween may be a little different than others, but it doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it. Sure we won’t be able to attend any shows at the Comedy Connection, but we can still enjoy the holiday from the comfort of our homes. Last year was a little different for the Comedy Connection as Martinis and Murder gave the audience plenty reasons to laugh during their act at the Wilbur Theater. Halloween at the Comedy Connection is all about a good balance of laughs and screams. Here are some Comedy Connection Halloween highlights from past shows throughout the years.
Martinis & Murder
John Thrasher and Daryn Carp joined us at the Comedy Connection for Martinis and Murder – the hit serial killer, mystery podcast series designed to thrill and excite. The hosts used their love of murders and mixed drinks to give the audience a compelling look at each murder they touch on with a humorous twist. John and Daryn captivated the crowd by deconstructing and deciphering murder cases and using twisted history to make sure the night at the Comedy Connection wasn’t one to forget. Halloween is the perfect time to listen to your favorite episodes of the Martinis and Murder Podcast to relive the best moments from the live comedy show!
RuPaul’s Drag Race Werq World Tour
RuPaul’s Drag Race unleashed their own brand of hilarity and hijinks on the Comedy Connection during their October 2017 show. The Drag Tour was different from any other drag show out there with its unique combination of talent, production and fan interaction. The queens came out with fierce new looks that brought the Comedy Connection to the floor laughing with never before seen theatrics.
Colin Jost
Colin Jost, a head writer for “Saturday Night Live”, visited the Comedy Connection in October 2017 to give the audience a humorous take on the world. Colin’s connection to the Boston area as a graduate of Harvard University gives him a unique perspective of the city that he shared with the audience as he remembered his days celebrating Halloween in college. Tune in to “Saturday Night Live” to see the latest comedy sketches from Colin Jost.
The Comedy Connection is sitting this Halloween out in regards to public safety due to the unique circumstances of the pandemic but we’re excited for comedy shows coming up in November. Live stand-up comedy at the Comedy Connection is a great way to relax and enjoy yourself with a drink and laughter. We bring the hottest up and coming acts to our stage to keep our audience coming back for more. Stay up to date with the latest Comedy Connection Events by checking our calendar.
