Beth Stelling is a comedian, writer, and actress who will be in Boston to perform at the Comedy Connection on Friday October 24th. She is well-known for her work in the Netflix series The Standups and has been a writer for HBO. She has performed on CONAN and Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Who Is Beth Stelling?

Beth Stelling got her start with standup comedy in the Chicago Underground scene where she hosted a regular weekly show. She grew more popular over time and was named “Best Stand-up Comedian in Chicago” in 2010. She relocated to LA in 2011 and her comedy and film career were ready to take off.

Beth made her late night TV debut on CONAN and released her debut album “Sweet Beth” within a year of moving to LA and other success soon followed. Her first half-hour comedy special “Boner Appétit to You” was filmed in Boston and many rated it one of the best of 2015. Her first hour-long special “Girl Daddy” was released in 2020 and received similar critical acclaim.

Beth’s comedy writing credits include I Love You America with Sarah Silverman, The Last O.G. on TBS, HBO’s Crashing, Another Period on Comedy Central, Apple TV+’s upcoming animated series Strange Planet, and season 8 of Rick and Morty for Adult Swim.
