Coming to the Comedy Connection for one show on 12/30 and two Boston New Year’s Eve shows on 12/31 is Andrew Schulz. Andrew is a stand-up comedian, actor, television producer, and podcaster. You may have seen him in MTV2’s “Guy Code” or the Amazon original series “Sneaky Pete”. In June of 2018, Andrew released his first comedy album titled, “5:5:1”. After just one day it ranked number one on iTunes’ comedy album charts and within its first week, it ranked number one on Amazon, Apple Music, and Google Play. In both 2018 and 2019, Andrew was the most viewed comedian on YouTube averaging over four million views per week! His popularity has been growing ever since too. His first comedy special, “Schulz Saves America” premiered on December 17, 2020.
Schulz has a distinctive take on comedy. He categorizes his style as “unsafe comedy” and is always on his toes ready to interact with the audience in a way you don’t see too often. These interactions are what set him apart and ensure that each show is going to be a unique experience. Hecklers have never been an issue for him, they do pop up every once in a while but are swiftly dismantled in a way that only he can do.
Andrew is currently out on his “Infamous Tour 2021” in the US and Canada and will be going well into 2022. He will be finishing out the 2021 portion of the tour performing in Boston at the Comedy Connection. If you’ve never seen a stand-up comedy show at the Comedy Connection you are in for a treat.
