Seeing a show at Boston’s best stand-up comedy club, The Comedy Connection is a great way to spend a night. There are a lot of great things you can do in the city before a show. Boston’s Theater District is packed with historic sites to see. The Boston Public Garden

Boston’s Public Garden is a 24-acre landscaped botanical garden that was established in 1837. It was the first public botanical garden in the United States. The garden contains footpaths that lead to a 4-acre pond which is home to swans and many other water birds. You can take a ride on the pedal-powered gondolas known as the Swan Boats which have been running during the summer months since 1877.

The North End

Boston’s Little Italy, the North End, is the oldest neighborhood in the city and home to over 100 restaurants and tourist attractions. The Italian restaurants in the area are some of the best in the entire country. Visiting the North End is a fantastic way to experience some of the best food Boston has to offer before attending an event at the Comedy Connection.

Chinatown

Right around the corner from the Wilbur Theater is Boston’s historic Chinatown. In the early 1890s, this area was first populated by Chinese immigrants. This area hosts some of the greatest Chinese and Vietnamese restaurants that can be found today. Many of the restaurants in Chinatown are perfect for a quick bite before a comedy show.

The Freedom Trail

The Freedom Trail is a 2.5 mile walking tour that’s official starting place is in Boston common. Along the Freedom Trail, you will visit 16 of Boston’s most historically significant sites. Guided tours are available, but some people choose to walk the route themselves. Some of the places that the trail passes by are the Paul Revere House, the site of the Boston Massacre, Granary Burying Ground, the Benjamin Franklin Statue, Park Street Church, the Massachusetts State House, and much more.

The New England Aquarium

At the center of the New England Aquarium is a massive four-story cylindrical tank that is home to coral reef and hundreds of Caribbean fish and reef animals. You will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the world’s most unique marine animals. They have everything from penguins to whales, turtles, snakes, jellyfish, seals, sea lions, and much more.

Spring has just started and there is no better time to experience all that Boston has to offer.
