It’s been a long year for everyone in Boston but we’re starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel as more people are vaccinated. Comedy events at the Comedy Connection have been put on pause since last March as the pandemic took hold of almost every aspect of everyday life but we’re excited to have live shows on the Comedy Connection upcoming schedule as restrictions begin to get lifted in MA. Attending a stand-up comedy show is a great way to relieve some stress with some laughs and enjoy some time out of the house. Here are the comedians coming to the Comedy Connection stage this Spring that we’re most excited about.
That Golden Girls Show! A Puppet Parody
Relive classic Golden Girls moments – with puppets! Dedicated fans are sure to enjoy parodies of some of the most memorable scenes from the show while first-timers get a taste of what the brilliant television series is all about. This hilarious show will have you on the floor laughing as you relive one of the greatest TV series of all time with feisty puppets.
Whose Live Anyway?
Catch the cast from another hit TV series, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, on the Comedy Connection stage for a night of laughter with the Whose Live Anyway? improv comedy tour. The 90 minute improv show includes comedy and song that is all based on audience suggestions. You can’t help but laugh when you see cast members Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops, Jeff B. Davis, Dave Foley, and Joel Murray invent as they go with witty scenes that unfold before your eyes. The Whose Live Anyway? improv comedy event showcases some of the improv games made famous on the show as well as some exciting new ones that will delight even the most die-hard fans of the show.
Jim Norton
Jim Norton, co-host of The Opie with Jim Norton Show on Sirius XM Radio, will be visiting the Comedy Connection stage at the end of April. Norton is well-known from his time on the Opie and Anthony radio show in the early 2000s and a number of stand-up specials including HBO’s One Night Stand series. His honest takes on what he sees going on around him offer a unique comedy show experience that you won’t want to miss.
